Black Dad Spotlight: New Orleans father-son duo stuns in expressive photoshoot
Fatherhood has changed Darrin Anderson, and the New Orleans model poured those sentiments into a stunning daddy-and-me photoshoot in his hometown.
The visual project stars Anderson and his 9-month-old son Carter. The duo appears in smooth, matching black Dickies suits for the camera in a variety of distinct, local backgrounds.
Anderson on Instagram shared six sweet photos of him with his adorable red-headed son on Sept. 14, and the post received more than 36,000 likes. It was reposted by several parenting and fatherhood pages, too. The shoot, executed by a photographer tagged as @_shabazzzz, included a video.
“Fatherhood is the best thing that could have happened to me,” Anderson wrote in the caption beneath the video. “From the bond that we share to the sleepless nights.”

This is beautifully captured and it makes me proud to see him embracing fatherhood. We need more imagines like this. In continuation, I would love to see this progress, as a project as they grow in age
