‘Love is Blind’ Stars Lauren and Cameron Expecting First Baby After 4 Years of Trying

“The moment that changed everything.”
That’s how “Love is Blind” star Lauren Speed Hamilton announced on social media that she and husband Cameron Hamilton are expecting their first child.
The Instagram post was especially touching for those who have followed the LIB couple since they fell in love and got married on Season 1 of the hit Netflix series. Last year on their podcast, The Love Seat, they opened up about their fertility journey. They spent four years trying to conceive, which included a host of in vitro fertilization treatments and a miscarriage.
Lauren is now settling into her second trimester, and reading the big, bold word “PREGNANT” on a test was “indescribable.”
“I fell to my knees and cried,” Lauren told People magazine. “It’s been a long time coming. I lost my father (at) Christmas last year. And so we took this test in January, beginning of February, so this was literally light in the darkness. This was like, ‘wow.’ The spark that my whole family needed.
“We’ve been trying for a long time.”
The fan-favorite couple has had to field questions about when they’d have a baby. Their season of LIB aired in 2018, and the conversations didn’t come without difficulties.
They shared more about their amazing pregnancy news and fertility journey on their podcast, which Cameron also *playfully* warned fans to not touch Lauren’s belly.
