Multiple outlets have reported that Rihanna delivered a baby boy last week.

The 34-year-old artist and fashion mogul welcomed her and her boyfriend A$AP Rocky’s first child on May 13 in Los Angeles.

A source close to the couple confirmed Rihanna’s delivery to PEOPLE, and it said the new parents are home in L.A. with the baby. Rihanna is doing well.

“They are very excited to be parents. Rihanna is already a wonderful mom,” the source told PEOPLE.

The couple announced Rihanna’s pregnancy in January with a photoshoot based in New York City.

Since, the Grammy winner has been an icon of pregnancy fashion, proudly showing off her baby bump with style.

The “Diamonds” singer has previously stated that she wants to be a mother more than anything, and she hopes to have multiple children. A$AP Rocky also expressed in an interview with GQ Magazine that he was destined for fatherhood.

The source close to the couple also told PEOPLE Rihanna and A$AP were over the moon about expecting a child.

“Everything Rihanna does, she does it her own way on her own time table, and having a baby is no different,” the source said. “They’re just like any other parents-to-be. Yes, they happen to be famous but they’re just the cutest, giddiest young couple that’s expecting kids.”
