Parenting Group to Host Black Parent Pride Summit in Atlanta
xHood, a group where Black queer parents can safely build community, will be hosting the Black Parent Pride Summit starting Saturday in Atlanta.
The two-day event will feature a dynamic lineup of Black LGBTQ+ parents, advocates and allies. The intention is to build and nurture healthy families and happy children.
The speakers will address some pressing topics within the community, including shame, mindful parenting, Black donors, fertility and more.
Along with the series of moderated conversations, this one-of-a-kind event will include rooftop lounging, brunch, and on-site extras such as parent confessionals and meetups.
The price of one ticket is $175 and the price of two tickets is $300 for a weekend designed to connect and empower Black LGBTQ+ parents.
