Magnolia Earl becomes first adopted spokesbaby for Gerber
Magnolia Earl is most certainly special.
Not only did she become the 10th Gerber spokesbaby after winning the annual photo search contest, but the 1-year-old from Ross, California, is the first adopted child to hold the title. She was selected from more than 370,000 entries.
“At a time when we are yearning for connection and unity, Magnolia and her family remind us of the many things that bring us together: our desire to love and be loved, our need to find belonging, and our recognition that family goes way beyond biology,” said Gerber President and CEO Bill Partyka in a release on May 8.
Baby Magnolia was adopted a year ago. She joined a family with sisters Whitney, 12, and Charlotte, 8.
“Her personality is beyond happy and joyful,” Magnolia’s adoptive mother Courtney Earl said in the release. “Adoption is incredibly special to our family’s story. Winning Photo Search is an opportunity to tell Magnolia’s story and shed light on all the beautiful and different ways families are made.”
Courtney Earl said her family is still in touch with Magnolia’s adoptive mother.
Winning comes along with a $25,000 prize, and Magnolia will appear in Gerber campaigns through 2020.
Congrats Magnolia and the Earl family!
